We very much enjoyed this cabin! This was our first visit to Big Sky and we had a blast zip lining, hiking and rafting. The cabin was a great home base for it all. The communication from the owners was excellent and the cabin was very clean and well stocked upon our arrival. Great location for a Big Sky adventure!

The end of May is a beautiful time to be in Big Sky, even though many of the restaurants do not open until early June, you have the mountain to yourselves and it is a great time to see lots of wildlife. There are extra pillows in the chest in the living room, but perhaps you did not look there. We agree it is nice to have extra pillows available and are happy to purchase even more for the king bed. We loved staying in this cabin. It was really crazy because we came during shoulder season and it was like a 5 star ghost town up there! We loved it because we were in a beautiful cabin and had the whole mountain to ourselves. Some of the local resturants were closed but we had fun cooking a few nights so it didn't matter. The cabin was really clean and kept up. Most of the appliances and kitchen goods seemed brand new. When we arrived at the home there was a really sweet note and treats left for us. We would definitely recommend staying here! Also, the master bed was a full king size bed, which is HUGE for us. The only thing I would suggest is extra pillows. Luckily it was just two of us so we used the ones from the twin beds in the other room but I love have 4 pillows on the bed.
Also, it's great because you can literally walk out the door and access hiking trails. Most of them had snow on them but we still found a little bit of clean trail this early in the season. Great place!

This our second time to Big Sky and we were not disappointed! As before the cabin was clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. Acra is so easy to work with and provides a wonderful vacation! Ski in and out was perfect. Hot tub wonderful and private. As before, we will be back!

Great ski in ski out cabin in such a beautiful area. The cabin was in perfect shape when we arrived. The views from the cabin - and the hot tub - were spectacular. We really enjoyed cooking up meals in the kitchen, which was well stocked with cooking and serving equipment. We had no trouble finding great food and drink items in the local shops. The area has much to offer - a trip to Northern Yellowstone in March was most enjoyable. The cabin location for skiing was excellent. An easy run to the Moonlight Lodge in the morning where lift tickets are available, and an easy ski out right to the cabin deck for a shower and a well earned soaking in the hot tub.

I booked the Wrangler for a nice, quiet vacation stay near Yellowstone, for me and my wife, and it was exactly what was described - beautiful!
The cabin was immaculately maintained and ready for us on arrival. The beds were very comfortable, and was everything else. I was impressed with the level,of detail, from laundry detergent, to digital audio system.
While we rented during the fall. I can see how this cabin would be perfect for any other time of the year.

We stayed at the end of summer and enjoyed the weather and local fishing.

This was the perfect little cabin for our family of 6. It was very close to the Big Sky Resort and just perfectly furnished and decorated. My three boys, Grandma, my husband and I, were all in love from our first step inside the door. It is truly "Cowboy heaven". Every kitchen utensil and appliance we were in need of were provided. I can't even describe the beauty and peace of this place-we were all nearly in tears the morning we had to leave. The hot tub on the back porch was the icing on the cake! Each night after our outdoor adventures (zip-lining, horse back riding, white water rafting, hiking, etc.) we all gathered in the hot tub for a perfect ending to a perfect day. Thank you so much Acra!!! We will be back just as soon as our schedules and pocketbook allow. Big Sky was the best vacation we've had in our 24 years of marriage, and we couldn't have chosen a more perfectly suited place to lodge for the week.

Visited Moonlight Basin for a wedding. Stayed for 6 nights, and had a great time! The adventures were awesome, river rafting the Gallatin, hiking beehive and ousley, downhill mountain biking at Big Sky and of course Yellowstone.
After all the long days, the hottub was great. This Cowboy Heaven cabin was super clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. We had a great overall experience, and will hopefully be back in the winter for the snow fun.

We just returned from the most wonderful fun filled family ski vacation! The Wrangler was such a great place to stay and perfect size for our family of four. The accommodations had a cozy cabin feeling throughout and was very clean. The owner was helpful from start to finish in regards to area recommendations and extra information to make for a great stay. Besides Alpine skiing for 4 days at The Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort our family tried Nordic skiing at the Lone Mountain Ranch which is a few miles away from the property on one day and we also went snowmobiling on another day. Lots of activities for everyone to enjoy. Coming home to a warm cabin and nice hot tub after a day full of activity was the best!!
We would highly recommend this place to our family, friends and anyone who wants to have an adventurous vacation! We hope to visit in the summertime sometime in the future as so many people said that time of year is spectacular!!! Thank you Acra!!!

For the last 13 years me and my family go to different ski resorts all other the world. This is the first place I am seriously thinking going next year. I found a ski Paradise in Big Sky. the cabin we choose was excellent - great location with a possibility of 'ski in and out', very comfortable, upgraded up to date property, very clean and very homy cabin. I highly recommend to evrybody who likes to feel private in a community. Very good place to stay for a family of 4-5 people. We enjoyed the hot tub every day after ski, on a porch!!! Unforgettable winter vacation! Thank you very much to Acra and her team! Hope to be back next year!

We have stayed in various Mountain Homes and Cabins in Cowboy Heaven while on several trips to Big Sky. We really enjoyed this cabin. It was great for our Thanksgiving holiday. Great interior decoration and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Cozy and inviting!

The cabin was everything we hoped for and more, We did much of our own cooking and the kitchen was well stocked including a few spices and oils which we did not expect. The King size bed and pillows were wonderful and the shower was great. Sitting in the hot tub at the end of the day was a great way to unwind with the bright stars overhead. The only drawback for us is we visited Yellowstone several days and the cabin is about an hour from West Yellowstone, so a little extra travel time. Not a problem, we were on vacation and the drive was beautiful. Overall a great experience!

I was born and raised in Bozeman and can't believe I waited this long to go to Big Sky! It's views are amazingly beautiful. We rented the cabin for a week and we didn't want to leave. We definitely can not wait to go back. We spent our time zip lining, white water rafting, hiking, etc. We also went to the farmers market and attended the concert in the meadow. We loved BlueMoon Bakery. We recommended this place to our family and friends since it was a clean well maintained mountain cabin get away.

We stayed at this unit for a week over the summer. The house is perfect for a family get away, furnished perfectly and very comfortable. We definitely plan to come back and stay in Acra's Cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Wrangler. Could not have been better! Had all the comforts of home, plus more - great sunrises, alpine views, hot tub, and relaxation! Cabin was well stocked in the bathrooms and kitchen. Great decor and very comfortable! Did not want to leave!
Our main travels were to Yellowstone, which is about 1 hour from the cabin. Is a bit far to drive at the end of the day, but worth it! Was out of the West Yellowstone tourist trap and much nicer accommodations than anything you could find there. Beautiful scenery along the way too. Big Sky also has a Farmer's Market. Be sure to stop by to get the Bison burgers to grill at the end of a wonderful day.
Also be sure to trek on the Beehive Basin Trail to the lake and beyond. Only 5 minutes away and ranks as in the top 10 hikes in the world!
Property was as described. Owner was very responsive to emails. Property photos were spot on and property was very clean and well-maintained. Water was hot right when you turned it on! Having a washer and dryer in the cabin was wonderful!
